I grew up in Füssen, Germany — and started on stage, not behind a desk. In 1998 I was playing guitar with Pushkin in the clubs of early Shoreditch, London. The studio came next: producing hip-hop, ragga and electronic records from 2002 to 2006.
Then a left turn into technology — web development, consulting for ComDev at the IFC / World Bank in Washington DC, branding for cloud company Backup247 in Melbourne — before London pulled me back to where it all converged: visual effects. At INK (weareink) I grew from Nuke compositor to senior artist across automotive and commercial film.
Today I direct from Germany under my own studio, and share London's wearenormal with Guy Nisbett. Behind every project stands a brilliant young team of artists here in Germany — nothing leaves the studio that we didn't build together.
